BSCA offer competitive cycling in most disciplines at a variety of levels from beginner upwards:

International Events in Europe

BSCA have for many years taken teams of selected cyclists to various of the major international cycling events in Europe.  This provides a real experience of the international racing scene and has enabled several of our top professionals to gain valuable experience at a young age.

It is with some reluctance that we have now decided that it is no longer practicable for us to continue this practice having regard to the ever increasing responsibilities being imposed by child care procedures of not only the UK but also other countries. There are however a number of international opportunities which you may wish to pursue and Ian Billington our West Midlands RDO has experience of international racing and is prepared to discuss the practical aspects of attending these events with interested parents. International events being staged in UK

For many years the Association hosted a home international and this once again provides valuable cycle racing experience, of a high standard to young people without needing to travel to Europe.  We have no plans for an event of this nature in the forseeable future, but welcome a proposal from an organiser with suitable experience and funding. Initial approaches should be made to the General Secretary.

National Championships

Each of the traditional cycling disciplines has its own National Championship :  Cyclo Cross, Circuit, Road Time Trial, Hard Track (pursuit and sprint), Grass Track, Rollers, Mountainbike, and Hill climb.

Regional Championships

Miscellaneous events

Around the country which are not championships but nevertheless are worthy of mention and these are mentioned in this section. These can include such events as a Saturday Bike Club, Coaching events, and fundays. You should contact your local Regional Development Officer to see what is going on in your area.
